4th WEHRHAHN AAC conference in Russia

Over 60 specialists of most of the 40 WEHRHAHN clients in the Russian speaking countries met in Nishni Novgorod at the Wolga to exchange practical production experience. The conference was conducted in Russian language.

A highlight of the conference was the visit of the new Poritep SMART plant which was just opened in summer 2015.

WEHRHAHN  Dry Mix and AAC production plant in Turkmenistan have started production

The new dry mix production plant set up by Messrs. Buyuk Bena has started production in mid of 2015.

The plant offers a maximum daily capacity of 200 tons.

The available sand has a very high content of clay and requires large sand washing equipment.

The production range includes various dry mix products, initially packed only in bags. In a second step the supply of dry mix in silos for building sites is planned.

Next to the ready mix production is a new Wehrhahn SMART plant for the production of AAC blocks and panels is under construction.

Nishniy Novgorod: Grand opening on „Builder´s Day”

The Russian building material producer Poritep held his opening of the new Wehrhahn AAC plant on 6th August, the traditional “Builder´s Day”.

The plant is designed for the production of AAC blocks and will initially produce 500 m³/day. 

A special challenge in this project was the plant design to fit into an existing production hall. The limited space with existing roof and supporting structure was challenging for the engineers.

The excellent cooperation between Poritep and Wehrhahn as well as flexibility and professionalism on both sides facilitated a short overall project time and resulted in a successful start of production of just 12 months counted from signing the purchase agreement.

Consolidating Wehrhahn’s presence in India

In addition to Wehrhahn’s  three AAC blocks plants already in operation by HIL Limited in India

Wehrhahn would now be supplying a state of the art fully automatic 1000 m³/day AAC plant to M/s Shree Cement Ltd., one of India’s largest cement producer. 

Shree Cement have opted for Wehrhahn’s plant considering its extensive experience in economic production of consistent high quality AAC blocks, continuous technical support, and having supplied more than 120 AAC blocks plants worldwide. The fly ash based AAC blocks plant coming up near Delhi, is scheduled to be in operation by end of 2015.

The beginning of the success story in Russia.

Congratulations to Teplit for the 10 Years anniversary of successful AAC production in the Ural Region. Teplit runs the first Wehrhahn PLUS - a fully automatic plant producing blocks from ash.

Wehrhahn has donated 1.000 Euro to support a local kindergarten.

Another WEHRHAHN SMART block plant opened in Russia: Kaliningrad

Early August a few hundred invited guests came to experience the grand opening of the WEHRHAHN SMART plant of AeroBlok.

All guests were impressed to learn that the plant had been installed in record time, had been in trial operation for only four days and after the ribbon cutting was producing in a short cycle time non-stop for the whole evening.

The plant runs fully automatic without process-related waste. It is equipped with four autoclaves and automatic palletizing. During his opening speech the main investor, Aleksandr Danishevskiy, praised the perfect operation of his machines already making on the first days of operation blocks in excellent quality.

First autoclaved fibre cement sheets production line in Sri Lanka

In Sri Lanka a new Wehrhahn fibre cement production line will start its production soon. Approx. two hours from Colombo the first plant in Sri Lanka for the production of autoclaved fibre cement sheets will be a new milestone in the history of the well-known fibre cement producer Rhino Roofing. Rhino established a new company with the name El Toro for the production and marketing of the autoclaved fibre cement sheets.

 

Our Managing Director Torsten Dietz joined the Ground Breaking Ceremony in Sri Lanka in June 2014.
